A cat, a window, and Amsterdam at night.
This new linocut is a view onto the Singel canal, the way I see it most evenings - quiet, a little mysterious, with the city lights shimmering on the water.

It’s a reduction linocut, built layer by layer (4 in total), and it took me over a month to carve and print.

Edition is strictly limited: 42 copies, size 44 x 32 cm - and it will never be repeated.

Within the series, there are subtle color variations - from brighter yellow lights to warmer orange tones - each copy carrying its own atmosphere of the city at night.
