Workshops
I started making linoprint workshops one year ago with one simple idea - to share my love and passion for linocut with everyone.
We don't jump directly to sketching - I love to share some history about linocut printing, show examples, explain the process and tools. Meanwhile, you can enjoy drinks and snacks.
Then we jump to the first step - sketching! What I like about linoprinting is that you don't need to have any skills to start! Drawing skills are not that important here, and the final result can be a bit different from what I had in mind
I teach all the steps: sketching, copying to the cutting block, painting, and printing.
We are not limited to paper, and we print on different materials - for example, we had a workshop about printing on textile.
I also love to organize seasonal workshops - Christmas time was a magical moment to print postcards.
Printing is an important step and a very satisfying moment - you finally see the final result of all the previous steps.
Carving is crucial; I teach how to use different cutters with different materials.
Painting step requires accuracy and patience - I show how apply paint, how to use different types of roller, how to mix paints, etc.

One workshop takes ±4 hours, and as a result, you will have multiple prints that you can take home with you.
You don't need to bring anything - I provide all materials (paper, cutting blocks, paints, etc.), and I always provide refreshments (drinks and snacks).
